Detectives are appealing for information following the report of an assault in the Camross Park area of Rathcoole yesterday evening, Friday, 8 January.
At approximately 8.30pm as a man was walking in the Camross Park area near Glas Na Braden Glen he was assaulted by two men who were wearing balaclavas. One of his assailants had a hammer and one had a metal bar.

The injured party received injuries to his elbow and hand.
