Two men have been arrested after a man was attacked in his home by an armed gang in Co Londonderry.
Three intruders beat the victim with bats or iron bars after forcing their way into the property on Ashgrove Park in Magherafelt.
The suspects, aged 33 and 34, were detained close to the scene just after midnight - a short time after the incident.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives are questioning two men on suspicion of assault and aggravated burglary following an incident in Magherafelt overnight.
"Shortly after midnight it was reported that three men had forced their way into a house in Ashgrove Park. They attacked the 34 year old male occupant with weapons, believed to be bats or iron bars, before fleeing.
"The two suspects, aged 33 and 34, were located by police a short distance away and arrested.
"Anyone with information that could assist the police investigation is asked to contact detectives by calling 101, quoting reference 28 17/05/20."
