A man has been charged with possession of firearms or ammunition in suspicious circumstances after being arrested close to Newry.
Detectives from the PSNI's Organised Crime Unit charged the man, aged 33, with three counts of possession of firearms or ammunition in suspicious circumstances, possession of class B drugs and possession of class B drugs with intent to supply.
The man was arrested in the Lower Newtown Road area, south of Newry, on March 15.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates' Court on Monday.
The PSNI said all the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, as is normal practice.
