A man's in a serious condition following a hit and run in Belfast last night.
The victim in his forties was struck on the Lisburn Road around 10.
He has been taken to hospital for his injuries.
The silver car involved - failed to stop - and made off in the direction of Malone Road.
Inspector McBain is appealing for anyone who was on the Lisburn Road last night and who witnessed the collision, or anyone with any information about the silver coloured car to contact officers in Lisburn Road on 101 quoting reference number 1512 of 10/09/16. Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
