A man is in hospital after being stabbed in north Beflast, the PSNI said.
The incident happened on Monday afternoon as the man was walking along the Antrim Road near the junction with Dawson Street.
Officers said they received a call shortly after 2.30pm.
The man, who is in his twenties, was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the stabbing to contact them.
