A man has suffered a head and hand injuries following an aggravated burglary in Portadown yesterday afternoon.
Detective Sergeant Wilson said: "We received a report at around 2:50pm that three males, one of whom was reportedly armed with a wooden bat, entered a property on Tandragee Road and attacked the male occupant.
"The victim sustained an injury to his head and to his hand, and he was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
"This was a vicious attack, and I would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area around this time yesterday, between 2:30pm and 3pm, and saw any suspicious activity including persons or vehicles, to call us on 101 and quote reference, number 903 30/04/20 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
