A 38 year old man's been taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg following an assault in Bangor.
Police say two men attacked him in the Rathgill Park area at around lunchtime yesterday.
The suspects are described as being aged in their mid to late 30s.
One had short brown hair and the other had short blonde hair.
A PSNI spokesperson said:
It was reported that shortly before midday a 38 year old man was assaulted by two unknown males in the area. The man suffered a suspected broken leg as a result of the attack was taken to hospital for treatment. The males were described as being aged in their mid to late 30s, one had short brown hair and the other had short blonde hair.
Detective Sergeant Edwards is appealing for anyone who was in the area of Rathgill Park yesterday morning and who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact detectives in Bangor on 101 quoting reference 604 03/11/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
