Two women have been left badly shaken after their homes were attacked in the Creggan area.
All of the front windows in both houses were smashed by a group of men yesterday evening.
One woman was in the house at the time.
Councillor Kevin Campbell was at the scene last night.
He told Q radio one of the womens' husband had only passed away a few months ago.
Mr Campbell said both women have been left wondering why they were targeted.
