Police say a 55 year old football coach reported missing this week has been found safe and well.
Austin Speight from Blackrock in County Louth, works with children in the Newry area.
Gardai had issued an appeal for information on his whereabouts saying they were concerned for his welfare.
Messages were posted online by local football representatives and parents offering support to Mr. Speight's family.
But last night the Garda cancelled its appeal on the weekend disappearance saying no further action was required.
