And Newry's own Grainne McCoy made her screen debut on The Apprentice last night.
The thirty one year-old makeup artist managed to dodge the axe this week.
Grainee, who runs her own studio, has been flitting between home and London for filming.
She told Q Radio why she's going through the process.
"The main reason to apply was to expand the business I have at the moment. And with the exposure a swell that I'm going to get through this process, I'm just hoping that business is just going to fly through now."
Special effects make-up expert Grainne made the final eighteen after being chosen from over eighty thousand applicants.
Speaking to Q Radio's Kevin McAllister earlier, Grainne's mum Siobhan Carragher and step-dad Phelim Carragher said,
"It's been tough for her but she applied to raise her profile and she got in over 80,000 entrants.
She's a good kid and we are very proud, but we can't say anything more at the minute - we had to sign NDAs (non disclosure agreements)."
