Newry Fire and Rescue's asking everyone to 'stay safe' this Halloween.
Commander Rod O'Hare says organised fireworks displays provide a safer environment.
But if revellers are using their own a licence is essential and can be bought online.
Across the province firefighters attended a hundred and thirteen calls over the Halloween period last year.
Of eighteen casualties thirteen were under 18 years old.
The commander says a few precautions can prevent injuries:
"...consider where they locate it, what they put on it and who's responsible for lighting and supervising the event. And we would also ask that young kids are managed and kept back at a safe distance because excitement takes over sometimes with them."
