A telecoms mast is expected to be approved at tonight's planning meeting in Newry.
That's despite 55 objection letters stacked against it.
The site for the planned mast is a field on Clonallon Road around a mile from Warrenpoint.
It's within an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Concerns raised surround illegal infilling at the site and potential for flood risk.
There are also some health concerns.
The council maintains the mast is a better environmental solution than other options and has recommended it for approval.
