Two churches are to undergo refurbishment after planning approval was granted.
Restoration work will be carried out and an extension will be added at St Patrick's Church in the Loup near Moneymore.
Cookstown Independent Methodist Church will also benefit from an extension to the buildings.
A church hall, toilets, a chair store and additional Sunday School rooms will be added.
