Police are investigating a serious crash in Newcastle, where one person was airlifted to hospital as a result.
It happened shortly before 3.30pm on Sunday afternoon, on the Ballagh Road.
We're told the collision involved a white Vauxhall Mokka and a grey Audi A4.
The road was closed for several hours as the emergency services dealt with the collision and another person was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Anyone who can assist the PSNI with information or those who may have witnessed the incident, is asked to contact them on 101 quoting reference 854 of 9/9/18.
