Motorists are advised to exercise caution between the Crescent Link roundabout and the Altnagelvin roundabout due to an oil spill on the road.
The oil spill is believed to have occurred following an road traffic collision involving a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist has been taken to hospital.
Their condition is not yet known.
