Police have identified the young man found collapsed and alone in County Antrim yesterday.
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition after being found in Rea's Wood close to Massereene Golf Club.
A social media appeal to help identify the man proved successful and police have now been able to get in touch with his family.
PSNI Newtownabbey said, "Update regarding the unidentified male."
"Thank you to everyone who shared our earlier post regarding the unidentified male from Antrim."
"A post shared by you was seen by someone who was able to identify this male."
"His next of kin have now been informed."
"This is another great example of Police working with the community to help each other out."
