Incident happened on Main Street shortly after 4am on Sunday 30th October
Police are investigating an arson attack on a house in Garvagh. The attack happened on Main Street in the early hours of Sunday Morning.
Shortly after four AM the occupant was woken up by a smoke alarm and discovered a fire at the bottom of his stairs. He was able to extinguish the fire himself, but suffered smoke inhalation as a result.
Police are asking anybody who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
