Police are appealing for witnesses after a 22 year old man was left with a serious head injury in Portadown yesterday evening.
Officers, along with paramedics, were called to the Garvaghy Park area at around 8:20pm after sounds of a possible disturbance were heard.
Detectives say the injury, which has left the man in a serious condition in hospital, may have occurred as a result of an assault, or a fall.
Lurgan CID say they are are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and who may have witnessed something that could assist the investigation. Detectives can be contacted by calling 101, quoting reference 1944 13/08/20.
