A police spokesperson said officers received a report at around 10.50pm on Wednesday of a person with a firearm outside a property in the Mullavat Road area.

“Officers attended the address and found that an upstairs bedroom window had been smashed, with the damaged believed to have been caused by a gunshot. However, no one was injured,” they said.

“Our inquiries are ongoing and we would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time or who has any information, including dashcam, CCTV or other footage, to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1583 of 03/12/25.”
