The PSNI Public Protection Unit and REIM Training Solutions, along with support from our local PCSP are hosting two information evenings reference "Internet Safety for Parents."
A spokesperson for the PSNI says:
"Everyone deserves to be able to use the internet to learn, explore and connect with each other but all of us need to be aware of the risks involved in doing so.
"The sad reality is there are those out there who will seek to exploit young people online in a number of ways.
"The information evenings are aimed at helping parents be aware of what to look out for when their children are on line and how to protect them."
They'll take place on the following dates and venues:
Monday 16th April from 7pm- 9pm - Warrenpoint Town Hall, Queen Street
Wednesday 18th April from 7-9pm - Kilkeel Bowling Pavilion, Knockree Avenue
Booking is not required - refreshments will be provided.
