Serious accidents are happening on the Carnlough Road up to one a week, claim two local politicians.
Recently over Christmas an elderly lady and a young family were trapped when their cars overturned at a bad bend on the A42.
Assemblyman Paul Frew and Councillor Beth Clyde have met Transport NI officials to discuss how to make the Carnlough Road safer.
