A security alert in the Ormeau Road area of Belfast has now ended, and ammunition technical officers have declared the incident to be an elaborate hoax.
Park Road and Cross Parade had been closed for a time earlier today as ATO examined a suspicious object.
A number of homes had been evacuated.
Police cordons have been lifted and the roads have now been re-opened to the public.
The object has been taken away for further examination and officers would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or anyone with any information about this incident, to contact them quoting reference number 318 of 23/04/21.
