Shots have been fired at a house and car in North Belfast.
It happened in the Torrens Road area shortly after 7pm.
No-one was injured.
In a separate shooting incident last night, a man in his 20's was shot in both legs in the West of the city.
A PSNI statement said, "Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a report of shots being fired in the Torrens Road area of north Belfast last night, Monday, 30 December."

"It is believed that at approximately 7.15pm a shot was fired at the front door of the property and another shot fired at the rear of a vehicle parked on the driveway."
"There was no-one in the property at the time of the incident."
"Detective Sergeant Eric Fairfield would ask anyone who was in the Torrens Road area last evening and who may have noticed anything suspicious to contact them at Musgrave on 101 quoting reference number 1749 30/12/19. Information can also be given anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
