Silent walk for The Disappeared held at Stormont

Relatives of 16 people abducted murdered and secretly burried by republicans have gathered at Stormont to remember thier loved ones. 

The annual silent walk calls for information to help locate the remains of the so called 'dissappeared'. 

Joe Lynskey, Captain Robert Nairac and Columba McVeigh are still missing.

Since last year's event, the body of Seamus Ruddy was discovered in France and returned to his family.

His sister Anne was today able to remove a white lilly from a wreath remembering the outstanding victims. 

The event - for those believed to have been abducted, murdered and secretly buried during the Troubles is now in its 11th year.

Since last year's commemoration the remains of Seamus Ruddy have been found in France and returned home to his family in Northern Ireland.
