A 14 year old girl suffered a minor leg injury after being knocked off her bike in a hit and run incident in Eglinton.
It happened in the Main Street area of Eglinton shortly after 6.45pm on Friday 4th November.
The teenager received a scrape to her leg in the incident but did not need medical attention.
The car, which is described as a black BMW with tinted windows, was being driven by a man.
Constable Millar said:
“I would appeal to the driver of the car, or anyone who witnessed the incident, to contact Strand Road Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1063 of 04/11/16. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
