A scheme to help Neighbourhood Watches and other groups communicate urgent safety issues quicker is being developed.
Mid and East Antrim Council’s Policing and Community Safety Partnership will start piloting Mobile Phone Text Messaging.
It means when there's a particular safety issue or crime, local communities can immediately text police or vice versa.
