€210k worth of heroin has been seized in a cross border operation.
The drugs were discovered after two UK registered vehicles were stopped on the M1 in County Louth on Saturday afternoon.
Two men aged 41 and 24 - and a woman who's 30 are due in court in Drogheda this morning.
In a statement An Garda Siochana said: "All three were detained for questioning under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at Dundalk and Drogheda Garda Stations.
"All three are scheduled to appear in custody before a Special Court sitting of Drogheda District Court to be held at 11.45 a.m. on Monday the 22/8/16 charged in connection with the seizure."
Follow up searches were conducted on both sides of the border following this joint investigation.
Both Gardai and the PSNI carried out follow up searches as part of the joint investigation.
