Three men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the chest in Newry.
Officers were called to a home in the Carrickateel Court area of the city yesterday morning.
The trio - who are all in their 40s have been released on bail.
Detective Constable McKeever said "At approximately 11:25 am it was reported to police that a man in his 30s had been stabbed in the chest at a property and was then taken to hospital for his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening at this time. Three men in their 40s have since been arrested in relation to the incident but have all been released on bail pending further enquiries.
