Two men were arrested and subsequently bailed, after a man in his forties was seriously assaulted in Cushendall.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on Monday officers received a report of an altercation involving three men in the village.
The victim was hospitalised, where he was treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Two men, one in his twenties, the other in his forties, were arrested.
They were questioned on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, disorderly behaviour, common assault, and the older man on suspicion of burglary.
