Two men arrested after a firearm and ammunition was recovered in west Belfast, have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
The suspects, aged 34 and 35 were detained as part of an investigation into the criminal activities of the INLA.
The gun and ammunition found were taken away for forensic examination.
The PSNI says the investigation continues.
