A US political activist visited Greencastle last night to support the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH).
The Molly Maguire division of the AOH have been holding a month long rosary on the site of mining firm, Dalradian, to oppose their plans for mining there.
Martin Galvin, the Vice President of the Bronx County AOH visited for the final night of the rosary.
Speaking before the event, Mr Galvin said he planned to establish strong bonds between the American and Tyrone Hibernians.
He also said that he will take on board all concerns raised in relation to the mining and protecting the area and report it back to Hibernians in America.
Particularly to the many Irish people living over there and have an interest in what will happen.
