Victims of institutional abuse in Northern Ireland have won High Court backing to seek compensation.
They've been granted leave to seek a judicial review of the alleged failures, to implement the recommendations of the Historical Institutional Abuse inquiry.
It said there should be a public apology to victims and compensation ranging from 7 and a half thousand to 100 thousand pounds each.
Proceedings have now been issued against the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland and the Executive Office.
