A vigil has been held for 20 year old Patrycja Wyrebek, whose body was found in a house in Newry on Sunday.
Local residents gathered on Sunday and again yesterday evening for a prayer service, to pay tribute to the young woman.
The discovery of her body was made by officers in Drumalane Park and detectives have started a murder investigation.
A 23 year old man arrested remains in custody and the Polish Consul in Northern Ireland confirmed both he and the victim are Polish nationals.
As a community we stood together tonight to remember Patrycja Wyrebek who tragically lost her life. It was a poignant and reflective service and I commend the Drumalane community and all of those involved. Deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Patrycja. pic.twitter.com/oig6dD1ZTR
