The family and friends of Derry-Londonderry teenager Jordan McConomy last night gathered for a poignant candlelight vigil on the street where he died.

19-year-old Jordan died 18 months ago after an altercation on William Street in the city centre.
His parents Andrena and Paul were among the dozens gathered last night to mark what would have been Jordan’s 21st birthday.

His Mum Andrena told Q Radio that she hoped that by holding the vigil more witnesses might come forward and help them find the truth of what happened:
