Maghera town centre is to benefit from free WiFi.
It’ll be the fifth town in Mid-Ulster to offer visitors a connection.
Coalisland, Cookstown, Dungannon and Magherafelt already offer visitors the service.
It’s been installed by Mid Ulster District Council.
It’s part of their commitment to improve telecommunications across the district and help ensure the growth of the retail sector.
Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, Trevor Wilson, says the availability of free WiFi is fast becoming the norm for any sizeable town.
“This is positive news for Maghera, particularly ahead of the publication of a new development framework which will set the scene for future regeneration activity,” he says.
