Witness appeal follows hit-and-run

An investigation's continuing after a hit and run in Poyntzpass.

It happened on Monday last week but details have just been released.

Just before 6pm that evening a cyclist was knocked off his bicycle by a blue tractor pulling a yellow silage trailer.

Police say the the tractor driver failed to stop and check on the cyclist.

They're keen hear from witnesses who were on the Canalbank Road that evening.
