A woman and two children have escaped inury after a number of shots were fired at a house in Omagh, Co.Tyrone.
Several bullets hit the kitchen window and upstairs bedroom windows in Clonmore Gardens at around 6pm on Wednesday evening.
Police have described it as 'reckless' and say the woman and children were not injured, but have been left badly shaken.
A PSNI spokesperson said "This was a reckless attack on a family home with no regard to the lives of those inside or anyone living nearby.
"Detectives would ask anyone who witnessed the shooting, or who has information which could assist them, to contact them in Omagh on 101."
