It happened on Ormeau Embankment yesterday morning
A woman and three young girls have been left shaken after an arson attack on a house in Belfast.
It happened on Ormeau Embankment, at around 6:20am yesterday morning.
It was reported some type of flammable liquid had been poured through the letterbox of the property and set alight.
It was extinguished after police and the Northern Ireland Fire Service attended.
Damage was caused to the front door as a result, but there were no injuries.
Police are appealing for information.
