A woman has been convicted at Ballymena Magistrates’ Court for claiming benefits that she wasn't entitled to.
36 year-old Michelle Scott of Lettercreeve in Ballymena was given a three month suspended prison sentence.
She claimed £10,603 of Income Support while failing to declare she was living with her partner.
Scott is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department for Communities.
