Police are treating as a hate crime an attack on a World War 1 memorial in Derry/Londonderry.
The artwork in the Fountain area of the city is believed to have been destroyed overnight.
PSNI at Strand Road are appealing for information.
The community in the mainly Protestant Fountain Estate awoke this morning to find the treasured mural which had pride of place outside the Cathedral Youth Club completely destroyed.
