The former Government minister is due to give a speech in Belfast next month calling for a more ambitious repsonse to the Refugee crisis.
Amnesty International has invited Yvette Cooper to the annual lecture over the issue at Elmwood Hall.
The former Shadow of the home and Foreign Secretary says people fleeing Iraq, Syria, Somalia and other countries due to war need humanitarian aid.
She's also recently championed a cause to rehome child refugees on time for the new school year.
