Crusaders have been drawn against the holders Coleraine In the semi-finals of the Tennent's Irish Cup.

The other semi sees Warrenpoint Town face Championship side Ballinamallard United - both clubs bidding for a place in the final for the first time.

The ties will be played on the last weekend of March. 

 

 

Ballinamallard beat Dungannon Swifts on penalties in Saturday's quarter-final tie at Stangmore Park. 

It finished 2-2 after extra-time with Harry McConkey's Ducks winning it 3-2 on spot kicks. 

Centre back and captain Simon Kelly grabbed a hat-trick for Warrenpoint in their 3-1 victory over Larne Tech Old Boys.

The Crues beat Ballymena 3-0 at Seaview.

Defender Billy Joe Burns scored from 40 yards. 

 

 

BJ says while his goal was a fluke Crusaders were worthy winners...

Midfielder Declan Caddell is a survivor from the last Crues team to win the cup in 2009.

He says if they are to lift the trophy 10 years on they'll have done it the hard way....



Also on Saturday, Cliftonville had a 2-0 win at Glenavon to move up to fifth in the Danske Bank Premiership, three points behind the Lurgan team. 

And Limavady won the North West Cup on their home ground, beating Institute on penalties.
