Former manager Harry McConkey is back in charge of Ballinamallard.

He replaces Gavin Dykes who quit the Danske Bank Premiership's bottom club earlier this week.

McConkey's first game is away to Glenavon on Saturday.

The Mallards are seven points adrift at the foot of the table with eight games left to play.

Their attempt to overturn a recent defeat against Dungannon has been thrown out by the Irish FA - the Fermanagh club had claimed Swifts skipper Ryan Harpur was ineligible for the game as he should have been suspended after being sent off in the BetMcLean League Cup final.

However, Dungannon had appealed the dismissal, leaving him free to play in the Premiership fixture.

Saturday sees the Swifts on the road to league leaders by two points, Crusaders.

It's a final game for Harpur before a three-match ban kicks in on Monday following that controversial red card in the cup final victory over Ballymena. The IFA this week rejected Dungannon's appeal.

The Crues are aiming to bounce back after last week's 3-1 derby defeat at Cliftonville.

Here's defender, Sean Ward..

.Second-placed Coleraine face Ards in Bangor while Linfield host Glentoran.

There's speculation about the future of Blues boss David Healy, but he's looking no further than the Big Two clash at Windsor...

In the other fixtures, Cliftonville travel to Carrick and Ballymena welcome Warrenpoint.

After last Saturday's postponement, it'll be a first game in charge for Point boss, 25-year-old Stephen McDonnell.

And he's looking forward to the "pinch yourself moment" of standing on the sidelines next to Sky Blues manager David Jeffrey...
