Holders Glenavon progress to Irish Cup semi-finals

Tennent's Irish Cup holders Glenavon have been drawn against Coleraine in the semi-finals of this year's competition.

The teams will meet at the Ballymena Showgrounds on April 1st.

Dungannon Swifts will face Linfield in the other semi at Mourneview Park in Lurgan.

The Blues reached the last four with a 2-0 victory away to Crusaders on Saturday.

Man of the match was Linfield striker, Paul Smyth.

The Crues say they have no complaints - Gavin Whyte coming up, after Philip Lowry.

David Healy's men are unbeaten in their five games against the Crues this season, winning the last three.

Here's Linfield centre-back Jimmy Callacher.

Coleraine romped to a 4-0 win in their quarter-final away to David Jeffrey's Ballymena United.

Glenavon went one better, beating their local rivals Portadown 5-0 at Shamrock Park.

And, Dungannon made it through with a 2-1 extra-time victory over visiting Championship side, Warrenpoint Town.
