The Northern Ireland under-21s beat Estonia 4-2 at Mourneview Park last night.

It means Ian Baraclough's team go top of their European Championship qualifying group.


Glenavon midfielder Mark Sykes claimed two of the goals, playing on his home pitch.

Boss Baraclough says he's prepared to give young Irish League stars a chance to shine on the international stage.


There were three ties in the last 16 of the Northern Ireland League Cup.

Holders Ballymena United had a 2-0 home win over Portadown.

Glentoran lost 1-0 against Carrick Rangers at the Oval while it was also 1-0 for Dungannon Swifts away to Warrenpoint Town.
