A 14 year old boy has been charged with a number of offences including robbery, possession of a knife and possession of a firearm.
It follows a number of incidents in the Donegall Place and Library Street areas of Belfast city centre yesterday morning.
The suspect is due to appear at Belfast Youth court on the 7th of September.
A 17 year old boy- who was also arrested remains in custody at present.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
