£500,000 scheme complete in Maghera

Transport NI have carried out a widening and strengthening scheme on a bridge in Maghera, totaling a cost of £200,000.

The bridge went under reconstruction and refurbishments including a new footway along the bridge and fixing the old twin span masonry arch.

The Craigadick road that was closed off to vehicles was now reopened this week.

The completion of the project should ensure a strong structure that will serve the community for many years to come.
