An 8 year-old girl has been left badly shaken after being chased and assaulted by two teenage boys in Strabane.
The child was struck on her side and leg in the Barrack Street area around half 7 on Tuesday night, however the details have just been made public.
The suspects are described as being between the ages of 15 and 18 and were wearing dark coloured hoodies.
They made off in the direction of St.Catherine's school.
Officers would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information to contact them in Strabane on 101 quoting reference number 1441 08/05/18. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.
