The U.S. is considering sending a special envoy to Northern Ireland as the powersharing crisis continues.
It's after the US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson met with the Tainaste, Simon Coveney in Washington yesterday.
Tillerson said the U.S government have already been looking into names.
The Irish Foreign Ministry has said America's been instrumental in brokering peace here and continues to support the process.
