Police in Fermanagh are appealing for information following a burglarly in the Loane Drive area of Enniskillen yesterday.
It comes after an elderly couple returned to their home yesterday afternoon to find it had been ransacked.
They'd only left the house for a brief period.
Officers are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area between half past one and half past two yesterday to come forward.
“At approximately 2.30pm police received a report that the house of an elderly couple in the Loane Drive are of Enniskillen had been burgled," the PSNI said in a statement.
"The couple had only left the house for a brief period and returned to find their home ransacked. I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed anyone behaving suspiciously in the Loane Drive area between 1.30pm and 2.30pm to contact detectives in Enniskillen on 101 quoting reference number 699 of 27/09/16," it went on.
“Alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111," it added.
